JUST Capital is a nonprofit that provides information and rankings on how large corporations perform on issues that matter most to the public. We ask Americans what matters to them, and evaluate how companies perform on those issues. Our ranking identifies America’s most JUST companies among the 1000 companies analyzed, singling out the top performing publicly traded company across 32 industry sectors. Our overall platform and the research underpinning it empower consumers, workers, business leaders, investors - all of us - to make more informed decisions about where to buy, work and invest, and ultimately, to direct capital towards those advancing a more just future.
Eminent hedge fund manager and philanthropist Paul Tudor Jones established JUST Capital, and it counts Deepak Chopra, Arianna Huffington, Ray Chambers and Steve Schmidt among its Board members. It is supported by some of the country’s premier philanthropies, including the Ford Foundation and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. JUST Capital has also forged partnerships with an array of elite research institutions, including MIT, Stanford and NORC at the University of Chicago.
We are looking for a sharp, passionate, and seasoned marketing professional to lead our marketing efforts as we materially accelerate our external profile and impact. The Director, Marketing will help define the JUST Capital brand, drive strategy and execution to significantly raise awareness of JUST Capital, and create demand for and thus drive adoption of our data and rankings among key target audiences: consumers, investors, workers, C-Suite Executives and corporate influencers.
The Director, Marketing will oversee brand awareness and messaging, plan and optimize media channel planning, and oversee all efforts around segmenting, targeting and communicating with JUST Capital’s key constituents.
A strong digital presence is core to JUST Capital’s business strategy and at the core of our marketing efforts, therefore a keen understanding of digital and social platforms, and firm knowledge of new and emerging on line trends is essential to drive adoption of JUST products and principles across user groups.
The Director, Marketing will oversee the development of online pathways for priority audiences to connect with current, past, and emerging research assets in ways that reinforce JUST Capital as the leading purveyor of data and analysis on JUST company behavior.
In this position, the Director, Marketing will work closely and collaboratively with the Technology, Corporate Engagement and Product teams within the organization.
He/she must be comfortable establishing and working with a network of formal and informal advisors whose contributions will help us achieve our goals in a cost effective manner.
